Pearse Silver Ten Shillings (Easter 1916) Commemorative 1966. Original Roll

This coin was issued to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Easter Rising in 1916.

The coin was struck in .8333 silver, it weighs 18.14g and has a diameter of 30.50mm, the Actual Silver Weight (ASW) in the coin is .4858 oz.

This is an Original roll of 20 coins wrapped in brown paper. I recently acquired a small hoard of these, the coins on either end are toned as is usual, having broken up some other loose rolls, all the inside coins were BU. 

 

These are difficult enough to come by these days and popular with collectors, there are also a few investors around who are trying to accumulate quantites for promotional purposes.
